Learn French with the Pumblechums – Online Courses

Learn French with the Pumblechums is a series of children's courses aimed at 4-8 year olds.

The courses use a more child-friendly version of the method found in the 3 Minute French series. The viewer is introduced to words and phrases that the main character, 'Blue', learns in his very own French lessons. Children are then prompted to use the words they've learnt to build their own sentences.

The good thing about the Pumblechums series is that the child can learn completely autonomously. Since all the words and phrases are introduced slowly, children can learn all by themselves simply by watching. These courses are also useful for parents who want to help younger children learn French, because they don't require any prior knowledge of the language themselves in order to watch along with their children.
