Building Structures in French - Structure 1
Online course
This is the first course in the "Building Structures in French" series and in this course, you will be introduced to structure 1.
The whole of the French language is made up of fifteen structures and each of these structures gives you the ability to say a huge amount. Some structures are used more than others, and all fifteen structures together make up the whole French language. Once you’ve learnt all the structures, all you have to do is insert different words into the slots and you have a sentence.
In this course, you'll learn how to manipulate the first structure by forming sentences, turning the sentences negative and making them into questions. We'll look at the three main parts of this first structure and examine how you can simply slot words into the gaps to say anything you want.
These courses can be used by complete beginners because nothing is left unexplained. Every word's English translation is given, so you'll know what everything means. Once each part of the structure is explained, you will have lots of practice exercises to help you master its usage.
By looking at the various structures in French, you will be propelled to fluency; if you can manipulate the structures at high speed, you can start to say anything you want without having to think about how to say it.
